Support
Start with the signal path.
The fastest fixes check Maeztro, the MIDI port and channel, and the target device or music app in that order.
A MIDI device does not connect
- Confirm the device is powered and visible in Audio MIDI Setup.
- Check the selected output port and MIDI channel in Maeztro.
- Confirm the device accepts the mapped message and has not disabled MIDI input.
- Test a single approved message before running a multi-device command.
Ableton does not connect
During the beta, the Ableton Control Surface may still appear as MaestroAI. This is Maeztro’s current compatibility alias.
- Confirm Ableton Live is open.
- Open Settings → Link, Tempo & MIDI.
- Select MaestroAI as the Control Surface; leave Input and Output set to None.
- Restart both Ableton and Maeztro after installing the Remote Script.
Voice is not recognized
- Confirm microphone permission in macOS Privacy & Security.
- Choose the intended microphone in Maeztro.
- Test the phrase while editing the command.
- Use its keyboard or pedal trigger to distinguish microphone trouble from MIDI routing trouble.
Live Pack is not ready
A Live Pack is invalidated when a port, channel, target device, Ableton structure, timing source, mapping, or approved command changes. Re-run soundcheck and compile a new Pack; do not bypass a missing-device, duplicate-port, unverified-profile, or clock warning.
